Uh oh
For the past couple days, I've noticed that the baby's heartbeat slows from 140 to anywhere from 0-80. I called the Dr, and they sent over my info to Maternal Fetal Medicine. They'll call me to schedule a level 2 u/s. I think it's cord compression... so... what happens if the cord is wrapped around the baby and then the baby grows? What happens if the baby doesn't get off the cord? Will there be brain damage if the baby makes it to birth? Why so difficult?

hope everything is alright...let me know. I had the cord around my neck but it was during the birth, which resulted in my mom having a c-section. i didnt know that could happen that early. scary! now i wanna check my baby's heartbeat!
